Stamford North
We are establishing a beautiful, thriving and sustainable new community that Stamford will be proud to call its own. Through landscape-led design and thoughtful architecture, we aim to create a place that becomes a cherished part of the historic town of Stamford.
Burghley, its fellow landowners and the local community share a love of this wonderful, historic town. We are passionate about its future.
At Stamford North, we are planning a range of wonderful new homes for households of all sizes and budgets, a focus on sustainability and nature recovery, beautiful and purpose-led green spaces, easy access to sport and healthy living, and outstanding educational provision. Over time, this will become a cherished part of Stamford, with seamless links between the two and the facilities they will be able to share.
South Canterbury
The historic city of Canterbury needs new homes and facilities. We are supporting that growth in a way that is community-led, responsible and beautiful. This is a generational opportunity to build a new quarter for the City within a beautifully landscaped space that will benefit the entire city.
South Canterbury will become a wonderful home to people and businesses. This new quarter of the city is being designed around the needs of existing residents, those who will come to live there, and the community they will create together.
This is much more than a housing project. The new neighbourhoods being planned will be built around beautiful spaces and connected by exceptional walking and cycling routes, making healthier living easy and enjoyable. Crucially, they will link seamlessly to Canterbury's heritage, with buildings inspired by local traditions and homage paid to the unique and historic Via Francigena. A new public park will be created with exceptional views of the city's iconic Cathedral.
Cambridge Science Park
A vibrant, collaborative and inspiring hub of science, innovation and education that will have a hugely positive impact locally, nationally and far beyond, in ways we cannot yet even begin to imagine.
Cambridge Science Park has, for over half a century, witnessed the creation of world-changing innovation, from cures for cancer to recyclable pea protein.
We are submitting plans to enable it to play an equally momentous role in the next half century and beyond.
Those plans will deliver 20,000 new jobs in addition to thousands more in construction. It will make better use of the Park's space with a groundbreaking, public Park of Science running through it.
Aligned with these physical plans is a focus on education and opportunity. This will be a place for children and their families to explore the wonders of science.
